AS9100 Series Aviation, Space and Defense

Our AS9100 consultant client was a new joint venture between two international avionics power houses, supporting private and international plane fleets. They needed to get their three maintenance locations AS9110 registered in short order.

The AS 9100,  AS9110 and AS9120 are the international standards for quality assurance and risk management for the aerospace industry,  They include AS9100c for original equipment and part manufacturers, AS9110 for aerospace maintenance enterprises and AS9120 for distributors.

Those organizations involved with the design, development, production, installation and servicing in the Aviation Space and Defense industry are expected to implement the appropriate AS 9100 standard in the series.

AS 9100 and ISO standards help play an essential role in helping reduce the risk of product or service mistakes or failures which can be catastrophic.

They provide confidence to aviation, space and defense customers and organizations that the quality management system of their suppliers has been certified by an accredited ISO certification body and meets the applicable Aerospace Quality Management System Standard requirements.

What are the benefits of AS 9100?

AS Certification to the relevant AS 9100 standard, not only demonstrates that you have an effective quality management system in place, but also it is essential to achieving your license to trade, thus critical to your business success.

Once you achieve AS9100 certification, you are included in the Online Aerospace Supplier Information System (OASIS) database alongside other certified members, organizations and auditors – as preferred Aerospace suppliers.

AS9100 series enables companies to master precise and stealth like continual improvement programs and tap into huge growth opportunities.

Aviation, space and defense companies are highly regulated to ensure their products are safe and reliable, conform to statutory and regulatory requirements, and meet or exceed customer expectations. The extensive globalization of the industry and its supply chain complicates compliance and creates challenges to the supplier as well as the end user.

each MOCG AS9100 consultant can help ensure your processes for quality assurance meet the AS 9100 requirements.

Each AS9100 Consultant is specifically chosen to meet the unique needs of each client to achieve their AS9100 Certification objectives.
